Where's Avery?

So I was taking a nap, I had to work the night shift and my sweet husband comes in. Wakes me with a kiss on the cheek and tell me that he and our neighbor can't find the girls. When I say girls I mean, the 4-year-olds.

As I get up and outside, I can hear my Andie yelling for Avery, I see my neighbor coming down the sidewalk and I look across the street and there they are. Coming out of a house that is for sale. No one live there right now and it has one of those real estate locks on it. I tell Avery's friend to close the door and head home and I yell to Avery to get in the house.

Just then I see Lucas coming down the street in our car. I explain that they just walked out of the house across the street and he head inside to deal with Avery, so glad I didn't have to do that.

I walk into the vacant house, there is nothing there, except two pairs of shoes. I walk into one of the rooms and find Avery's socks and on top of the kitchen counter is a paper. I look at it and it is a real estate page for people who view the house to leave their contact information. I look down and there are two name added to this list. It now has Avery's and her friend's name on the paper. I am only telling this story from my daughter's perspective and will leave it up to my neighbor to admit her daughter was involved or not. Sorry for the secretiveness.

Anyway, I am so glad to see that everything turned out O.K. and they are safe, but when put in that situation, all the bad things that could have happened start to enter your head. Let's just say that Avery will not be playing for awhile now.

Random Bits of Information

Erynn is getting so mobile. She stands and climbs now. This is a place Andie likes to play peek-a-boo at. Don't you just love that adorable little face!

I love to do my girls hair and it is getting harder and harder to find cute new ways. I found this great blog called piggiesnponies.blogspot.com. They have some really cute ways to do hair. Especially for Andie, since I cut it and she is getting older. No more french braids or piggies.

I love reading LDS romance novels and my favorite is "Dusty Britches" by Marcia Lynn McClure. Well she came to Bookworms today and I had the chance to meet her get her to sing my copy of "Dusty Britches" and "Visions of Ransom Lake". I was super excited.

My Andie stayed in line with me and she got a pic too. She had fun talking to Ms. McClure and her husband. She was quite a hit.

We even had her husband Kevin sign his pic at the back of my books.

I did in fact have an epiphany today. You see the pic of me with Marcia and Kevin, will I was appalled. I can't believe how big I have gotten. So, I figure I spend so much time to my blogging her and my bows, I am now dedicating time to my Weight Loss Journey Blog. So please check in from time to time, I would love your support.

8 Months

8 Months!! Can you believe it!?!? From 7-8 months, so much has happened. Erynn is sleeping through the night, Finally!! She is all over the house and getting really fast. She has cut two teeth, her bottom two.

Erynn and her silly sister Andie, don't you just love her piggies. Our babysitter Mareisa put those in her hair the other day. I was in shock, or maybe denial. My baby is getting so big!

We also go "Your Baby Can Read" from my brother-in-law Isaac and have been working with the that now, so we will see.

Believe it or not, she is pulling up and standing all by herself. We had to move her bed down so she wouldn't fall out. We have been swaddling her up to sleep at night the past 7 1/2 months and are now just laying her down unswaddled and she is doing great! Funny thing is, she likes to sleep with her teddy bear on her head, Go Figure.

I know this one is a little blurry, but Avery took this picture. I thought it was so adorable, the smile on Erynn's face. This shows you how well my girlies get along. Only Avery can make her smile like this.

Frustrated

So, I have to work tonight and the next two nights. I have the best kiddos ever. I layed both Avery and Erynn down around 2pm. Avery just woke up and Andie is home from school doing her homework and Erynn is still sleeping. Did I get any sleep. NO!! I layed there for an hour and a half, just layed there. I am finding it harder and harder to nap these days, yet I go to bed super late because my body is used to being up all night when I work.

I know this is not good. A friend at work told me that sleep deprivation can lead to Alzheimer's! Plus, it's not like I have a ton of energy when I am awake. It's just plane FRUSTRATING!
